JOY XANDE’S FINAL THOUGHTS OF THE BIOPIC
-
I would certainly recommend this film. Biopics are one of my favourite genres and I feel like this is one biopic that the general public needs to see to better understand not just Milli Vanilli but how some aspects of the music industry can playout.
-
I'm sure it's rated R. The film is not smut at all but there are mature themes that do occur because of their rockstar lifestyle and unfortunate tribulations.
A strong 7.2/10 was given from critics.
I'm certain that the Paramount+ Exclusive is TV-MA .
That documentary features my parents favourite from back in the day -- Downtown Julie Brown.

Either way is fine to be honest. I had to watch it by myself for the first time to grasp all of the missing information because this duo is before my time.
Very enjoyable in a group setting as well, especially if everyone knows the words to the songs. ♡

When Fab was adamantly speaking up about wanting to sing LIVE for Wembley Stadium and Rob went "BENNY" in the snarkiest voice ever.
Sassiest little moment but they wanted what they thought they deserved -- Respectable.
Fab singing solo with his guitar at the lounge after Rob's passing was a very relatable scene for me.
The moment that Fab & Rob changed their hair and walked into the club like black Fabios', MAJESTICALLY.
Rob's willpower was so infectious; no matter what, his will to thrive was lovely to see in the biopic
